Imagine if someone explained to you how to make your perfect cup of chai. That’s exactly what we did at the end of last month. We held our Artof Chai Workshop in a breezy, open room at the back of Stable Café. Attendees snacked on samosas and sipped on various flavors of chai, while Paawan, the owner of The Chai Cart, lead the forum with discussions about why chai is integral to her life and the lives of many Indians, the selection of chai ingredients and how they impact your finished product, and the beginnings of The Chai Cart and the future plans Paawan envisions. She answered all questions on how to customize chai with different types of milk, tea, and spices. She even revealed details on how to cut down on prep time for people with busy lifestyles.
There was also a special guest in attendance: Paawan’s mom. A special shout-out to her for making one of the delicious snacks. :)
